Removing unwanted waste from rivers is our primary goal.  Centuries of neglect at the hands of industrial progress have turned rivers into struggling ecosystems that have seen far too many detrimental changes to be ignored.  These changes have had a profound effect on the surrounding environment.  From wetlands to woodlands, to the water that we drink, the neglect of rivers can be felt far and wide. Focusing on rivers allows us to tackle this growing crisis at its source.  By engaging volunteers and employing community assets and resources, 4River endeavors to strategically clean up our waterways, ensuring a better future for generations to come.

Our Hope for the Future

Reduce! Reuse! Recycle! Refuse! Surely, you have heard this mantra before. At 4River we place great emphasis on each of these principles. However, we are particularly passionate about the value of refusing single-use plastics, or any article, that can unnecessarily end up as pollution in our waterways. Take a stand and REFUSE TO USE these items and one by one each of us can join in the revolution to eliminate this problem where it begins.
